1 year shop rental how much deposit must I pay? And 2 years?

The amount of deposit is dependent the landlord and the rental unit usage and condition.
Some landlord look at your start up capital. Some private small landlord just do a 2 or 3 mths security deposit if it is a HDB shop. So all depend on who is your landlord and what you are renting it for. most retail landlord would also prefer at least a 2 yrs lease. and security deposit is usually 2-3 mths in most of my cases.
