Asked by
Hi currently im renting two warehouse units of the same industrial building, different level. 2 different landlords.
1 unit agreement is sept this year, the other unit is 2020 may. should i extend 1 year or 1 year 8 mths for the first unit? actually i wish to change location if there is suitable place. but my 2nd unit agreement is till 2020. IF i happened to get a suitable place within these 2 months can i void the 2nd unit agreement? there's a 3mths deposit.
or should i extend 1yr for 1st unit until sept 2019, n tell first unit landlord to rent per month basic until i move out? from sept 2019 to may 2020 i might find a suitable place?
im not sure how it works when u r holding a agreement with current landlord n found another suitable place before 1st agreement ends..

Hi Ms Teo,

Good Day,

Understand that you are currently having 2 units within the same building but the contract end dates are in 2018 and 2020.

It may be best to go through your 2nd contract which ends in 2020 or clarify with the landlord for a better understanding.

Feel free to let us know how we can help or assist in the near future.

Thanks,
Leonard
