Hi,
I am currently having 3 years lease with a commercial landlord. It has only 1 year left. I am consider moving out after the lease end due to disappointment and dissatisfaction of the landlord for the past 2 years. My great concern is that I'm afraid the landlord will not return my deposit(3 months) when I leave.
Can I delay the last 3 month rental and pay it after i get the deposit at the end of lease?
If not, how can I prevent or safeguard this from happening?
What can I do if the landlord really took my deposit at the end of lease without proper reason (it's more than small claim tribunal claimable amount)?
