Hi, I would like to purchase a commercial property for my company like a land/factory for industrial usage. Just curious if an agent MUST be engaged to proceed with the transactions?

Mr Kwan,

You could of course go on your own and search online or newspaper for the property you need and proceed with all the paper works and all.

However, the fact that you are asking means that you have limited knowledge on how to go about it.

I would strongly recommend that you engage the professional help of a real estate agent to help you :
1. Source for it,
2. Advice on the process / procedures
3. Negotiate

Yes, you need to pay a commission for his service.
But you are assured of doing it right, fast, efficient.
And not risk missing out of important details that may cost you more money in the long run.

Hi Mr. Kwan,

I do a lot of industrial properties. Let me assist you to find the right properties. Generally, please ensure that your company is GST registered to take benefit of the GST rebate as industrial property purchase attracts GST. Call me David @ 94386522  . Read More
