Hi, I'm a Singapore Citizen. I will be working for a German Company who has no branch office in Singapore and now my company would like to rent an office space in Singapore for expanding the business in Asia. My question is : Could my company ( German company) can rent an office space in Singapore directly? Or my company need to set up a legal branch company in Singapore in order to rent an office in Singapore?

Hello
Your company will definitely need to register ( legalise) in Singapore. You might also consider renting a service office for the start up for short term and decide how big it will be growing in the next 6 mths.

You can also get a corporate secretariat to help you with the set up
