does your business concept require heavy human traffic? If yes, you will have to take a showroom/shop space in an area which has high volume of human traffic. And generally, these areas do cost more in rental. Another alternative is to consider malls in traditionally mature estates.
But if you do not require traffic and are serving mainly regulars or employ other methods of marketing, then you can consider outskirt areas of singapore which are lower in rental.
There are many factors when choosing a place to set up your business. Even though price is a big consideration, it should not be the only factor in your decision making. Other factors such as :
- location
- catchment area
- parking
- loading/unloading
- inflows/outflows of human traffic
- shop positioning, frontage
- size
