Hi TDS,

You can purchase Commercial Property for investment.
But, need to watch out on Commercial Mixed Development, ABSD still applies for 2nd Purchase.

Hi TDS

You will be able to invest in commercial properties based on the scenario you described as above.

Do take note on some points before committing to invest in any commercial/industrial properties.

1) Your financial committment. Your Loan-To-Value may not be as much due to new MAS ruling. Do contact a banker to do an approval-in-principle to determine your likely max loan quantum and tenure. This will gives you more confidence in committing to your desired investment choice.

2) For some Commercial Mixed Development, ABSD might applies. Do check before committing to it.

3) What is likely to be the best investment property to add to your portfolio if you only have 1 choice?

Hope this helps.

Feel free to contact me if you need assistance in investing.
