The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) today announced the award of tender for the 3.9ha site at Woodlands Avenue 12 to Wee Hur Development at a bid price of S$76.9 million.
The firm submitted the highest among five bids received at the tender that closed 29 June.
Zoned Business 1 with an integrated heavy vehicle park, the site comes with a 30-year land tenure and a maximum permissible gross plot ratio of 2.5. According to URA, the site is located near population centres in Woodlands, Sembawang and Yishun as well as the Woodlands Civic Centre.
Notably, the 422,258 sq ft site was launched for tender by the statutory board on 29 June.
