HDB Shophouse is a very unique form of investment, uniquely Singapore. Most commonly found in the neighborhood estates.

Also, one interesting thing to note is that, the prices of the Shophouses depends largely on the rental it can get, rather than the location. You might have come across a HDB Shophouse in Central area, costing less than another HDB Shophouse in the OCR areas (like Jurong/Tampines).

This is very common, as the human traffic in residential areas like Jurong/Tampines is much higher than in Central areas, making businesses more viable. Hence, the higher rental translate to higher selling prices for these HDB Shophouses.
