International hotel operator Accor has appointed Kerry Healy (pictured) as Vice President for Sales in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, the company announced Wednesday (17 December).
Healy will be based Singapore and will work closely with the sales offices across the region to support and develop strategies in attracting more clients to the company’s hotels.
In a press statement, Accor said prior to this assignment, Healy was the Asia Pacific Sales Director for Leisure, Meetings and Events in the company’s Singapore branch. She was also posted in Accor’s office in Dubai, Sydney and London.
Commenting on her new role, Healy said: “I am looking forward to the challenge that the new position offers and the larger scope of responsibility. The region is a very dynamic one and with the aggressive development plans of our region our relationships with our key and strategic partners is paramount.”
“As VP [for] Sales, I look forward to continuing the excellent work that has been done in developing our strategic relationships and growing our performance across the region,” she added.
Accor operates 3,600 hotels across 92 countries under 14 renowned brands. In Singapore, it operates 2,101 rooms across six hotels including Sofitel So, Grand Mercure Roxy and Hotel Novotel in Clarke Quay.
