The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) on Monday (28 December) announced the launch of 10 sites for sale under the Industrial Government Land Sales (IGLS) Programme for the first half of 2016.
The 1H2016 IGLS Programme will comprise of six sites in the Confirmed List and four sites in the Reserve list, the agency said in a press statement. The sites come with a total area of 12.24ha—fewer that the total site area of 14.3ha made available in the IGLS Program for the second half of 2015.
According to MTI, sites under the Reserve List will be released for sale if an interested party submits an application for the site to be put up for tender with a minimum purchase price that is acceptable to the government, or if there are “more than one unrelated party submitting minimum prices that are close to the government’s Reserve Price for the site within a reasonable period.”
