TA Corporation on Tuesday (19 January) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tiong
Aik Construction, has secured a S$94 million construction contract to develop German European School Singapore’s proposed education institution building at Dairy Farm Road.
Construction works are expected to start on 15 February, with a completion target of 25 months.
With this, TA Corporation’s order book for construction business stands at approximately S$300 million, and will be progressivley recognised over the next three years.
With a BCA grading of A1—unlimited tender ceiling—for general building, TA Corporation has been involved in a variety of specialised construction projects, spanning residential, commercial, industrial, hotels, education institutions and public housing. Some of the group’s notable projects in the education space include School of the Arts (SOTA) and the Singapore American School.
Meanwhile, TA Corporation said the contract is not expected to have any material impact on the group’s consolidated earnings per share and net tangible assets per share for the current financial year ending 31 December.
