Jurong Point, Singapore’s biggest suburban shopping mall, has been put up for sale for over S$2 billion, according to a report.
The mall, located in Jurong West, has a total net lettable area of 761,000 sq ft which includes 44,000 sq ft of space under the government’s Community/Sports Facilities Scheme (CSFS) and the 59,000 sq ft of space under three strata retail units previously divested to Golden Village, NTUC Fair Price and POSB.
A total commercial net lettable area of about 658,000 sq ft is being offered on sale by the equal joint venture owners Guthrie GTS and Lee Kim Tah Holdings. This means the price tag translates to over S$3,000 per sq ft.
