Co-working space provider The Working Capitol will open a new co-working and lifestyle space on Robinson Road in Singapore’s central business district early in 2017, it said in a press statement on Monday (5 December).
Similiar to its first co-working space at Keong Saik Road in Chinatown, the new space at Robinson Road will feature hotdesks, private offices and duplex penthouses which will occupy around 55,000 sq ft spread across 11 floors at 140 Robinson Road. It will also feature lifestyle elements including food and beverage options, a sky garden, a gym, a bar, a 20-meter outdoor lap pool and a member’s lounge.
Confirmed members of The Working Capitol Robinson include a fintech lab by RHB Bank and a 100-person tech unicorn located across an entire floor.
“Adding The Working Capitol Robinson to our network gives an even greater range of companies the chance to experience a beautifully designed, dynamic work environment. We’re delivering on our desire to help large organisations have greater access to startup mindsets, and to give smaller companies the resources they need to grow and thrive,” said Ben Gattie, co-founder and chief executive officer of The Working Capitol.
Founded in 2014, The Working Capitol opened its 40,000 sq ft flagship site in Singapore’s Chinatown in 2015 and is home to more than 70 companies, including SMEs, startups and large global corporations.
