Two prime food courts located in Orchard and Tampines are up for sale by expression of interest (EOI), Knight Frank announced in a press release Monday (7 March).
The food court at Orchard Road has a strata floor area of 2,648 sq ft. The freehold property has a total of 4+1 stalls and comes with a guide price of approximately S$11 million to S$12 million.
Meanwhile, the food and beverage outlet (pictured) located next to Tampines West Community Club at Tampines Street 81 has 10+1 stalls, an outdoor refreshment area and living quarters and comes with a total area of 3,800 sq ft. It comes with a guide price of between S$17 million and S$18 million.
“The last sale of a HDB coffee shop was at Bukit Batok and transacted at $31mil mid last year. These two food courts for sale will appeal to both investors and coffee shop owners as they are well-located, with high footfall and large catchment areas. Both properties are also fully tenanted,” said Mary Sai, executive director, Investment and Capital Markets.

The EOI excercise for these properties will close on 23 March.
