GuocoLand has secured more tenants at Guoco Tower, a 890,000 sq ft premium column-free Grade A office building located within the upcoming integrated Tanjong Pagar Centre, which is expected to receive its Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) by July this year.
The new tenants include global agribusiness and food company Bunge, US-based human resource consulting firm ManpowerGroup and K Line, a large Japanese transportation company. These multinational corporations (MNCs) join other tenants earlier secured by the developer, namely IT firm Open Link, Hong Leong Bank, global workplace provider Regus, and DNB Bank Asia’s wholly-owned subsidiary, DNB Asia Ltd.
More importantly, GuocoLand announced that AccorHotels, one of the world’s leading hoteliers, will relocate its Asia Pacific headquarters to Guoco Tower. The French hotel group will also operate the new five-star Sofitel Singapore City Centre at the mixed-use project.
The 222-room luxury hotel will feature 8,600 sq ft of ballroom and reception areas, eight meeting rooms, a 30,000 sq ft gym with state-of-the art facilities, and a poolside lawn area where corporate and private events may be held.
“For office tenants at Tanjong Pagar Centre, Sofitel Singapore City Centre will offer companies an array of privileges, including boardroom catering, in-office check-in for guests at the hotel, hotel dining, ballroom and MICE discounts, and other exclusive amenities,” said a GuocoLand press release.
Aside from the Sofitel hotel and the 38-storey Guoco Tower, the mixed-use project will also feature a 100,000 sq ft dynamic lifestyle and F&B component, 181 luxurious homes at Wallich Residence, and a 150,000 sq ft Urban Park.
Located directly above Tanjong Pagar MRT station, the multi award-winning development is set to become Singapore’s tallest building upon completion this year, at 290 metres high.
