One of Japan’s largest shopping complex developers, Parco, though its Singapore arm is creating a Japanese restaurant zone at Amara’s 100 AM mall, the company announced in a press statement Monday (25 April).
The announcement comes after Parco secured 14,000 sq ft of F&B space at level 3 of the mall at 100 Tras Street. Parco said it plans to open the new restaurant zone, which will be named “itadakimasu by Parco ” in the last quarter of 2016.
“100 AM is a strategic choice for our new ‘itadakimasu by PARCO’ concept in Singapore as it is located within the central business district, [and is] surrounded by new exciting developments,” said Shigeyoshi Sato, chief executive officer (CEO) at Parco (Singapore). “Our restaurant mix will be a boost to the large working population and residents in the vicinity.”
Albert Teo, CEO of Amara Holdings, said: “This new F&B concept “itadakimasu by PARCO” is a strategic fit and ties in well with 100 AM, which appeals to modern, inner city urban dwellers with high purchasing power. We are confident that this unique dining concept by PARCO will be a strong draw for shoppers and residents alike.”
