Local technology firms accredited through Accreditation@IDA (A@IDA) can now access larger infrastructure and urban development projects beyond the offerings of the government sector.
This comes after Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) inked two Memorandum of Intents (MOIs) with Surbana Jurong and Lendlease to empower IDA accredited firms to win projects via Lendlease’s and Surbana Jurong’s worldwide footprint.
With projects in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, Surbana Jurong offers consultancy for urbanisation and infrastructure development. The partnership enables IDA accredited firms to participate in master planning projects and build on successful deployments.
In fact, two IDA accredited firms – Sense Infosys (a data analytic firm) and Evercomm (an energy analytics firm) – are already in discussions with Surbana Jurong to explore integration into “Smart City in a Box”, a platform that brings various innovative smart city solutions together.
Lendlease, on the other hand, offers services via the property spectrum like investment management, development works, asset management and project management for construction. With the partnership, tech solutions by the IDA accredited firms can be explored for existing and future projects for Lendlease in Singapore and overseas markets.
In a release, IDA revealed that Lendlease is currently in discussions with relevant IDA-accredited firms for solutions ranging from video analytic to energy management.
With this, A@IDA will collaborate with Lendlease and Surbana Jurong to create recurring platforms where they can regularly feature all IDA accredited firms’ tech solutions for various user departments in said firms.
