Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened Andaz Singapore, its first Andaz hotel in Southeast Asia, reported Business Wire.
Situated at the heart of cultural crossroads, where Little India, Kampong Glam and the Bras Basah Bugis arts and entertainment hub meet, Andaz Singapore is Hyatt’s 17th property for Andaz brand. It is a five-minute drive to Singapore’s central business district and 20-minute drive from Changi Airport.
Featuring 342 contemporary guestrooms, the hotel opens in DUO – the biggest integrated development within the Ophir-Rochor district.
Envisioned by its interior designer Andre Fu of AFSO as a contemporary lifestyle destination that embraces Singapore’s urban spirit, the hotel’s design incorporates locally inspired techniques, furniture, decorative details, art and fabric.
It also showcases various acclaimed artworks by local Singaporean artist Ahmad Abu Bakar, Brazilian sculptor André Mendes, Malaysian artist Fauzulyusri Mohd Yusof and New York-based Filipina artist Monica Delgado.
Much like any Andaz hotels, guests can enjoy a complimentary minibar with non-alcoholic drinks and locally sourced snacks that are replenished daily, all-day complimentary refreshments at Sunroom and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The hotel also boasts of a 14,800-sq ft events alleyway that features four residential-style event spaces such as Garden Studio, an adjoining outdoor terrace; The Glasshouse, which is a distinct glass-box venue; and two Studios for smaller gatherings.
Guests at the new Andaz Singapore can enjoy 20 percent off at all guestrooms as well as 3,000 World of Hyatt bonus points per stay (at a minimum of two nights booked), said Hyatt.
