Frasers Commercial Trust picked up two awards at The Global Good Governance Awards 2017, which was held in conjunction with the 9th Annual Global CSR Summit and Awards 2017 on 30 March.
The trust received gold awards for the Best Governed and Most Transparent Company as well as the Best Corporate Communications and Investor Relations categories.
A high profile international recognition award, The Global Good Governance Awards recognises public institutions and companies with the highest standards in transparency, governance and performance.
The Best Governed and Most Transparent Company award is given in recognition of excellence in corporate governance, risk management and transparency, among others.
The Best Corporate Communications and Investor Relations award, on the other hand, recognises corporate communications that help the institution or company achieve its goals in communicating with stakeholders, investors, the media and communities they operate in.
“We are deeply honoured and delighted to receive these important recognitions for our longstanding commitment and efforts towards upholding high standards of corporate governance and investor relations practices,” said Dr Chua Yong Hai, Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director of the trust’s manager.
He noted that the awards “are key cornerstones to sustaining and enhancing long-term value for Frasers Commercial Trust and its stakeholders”.
