AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT (AA REIT) has secured the first tenant for its 8 Tuas Avenue 20 redevelopment (pictured).
Occupying the ground floor of the property, the tenant – whose business is in the aerospace industry – committed to a ten-year lease with rent escalation during the term.
Koh Wee Lih, CEO of the REIT’s manager, noted that they are continuing their efforts to fully lease out the property, which achieved its temporary occupation permit on 29 August 2017, whilst seeking the right mix of tenants.
“We remain committed to fostering long term relationships with high quality tenants to build up a quality and diversified tenant base through delivering purpose-built asset solutions.”
The newly completed three-storey industrial facility is suitable for production and warehouse usage. Conveniently situated near the junction of Pioneer Road, the property is a short drive to Tuas Checkpoint and within walking distance to the new Tuas West Road MRT station.
