AccorHotels will open Sofitel’s flagship property in Singapore – Sofitel Singapore City Centre (pictured) – next month, reported Hotel News Resource.
To celebrate its opening, the 223-room luxury hotel will offer a special opening rate of $800++ per room for two nights as Sofitel Singapore City Centre is AccorHotels’ 800th hotel in Asia Pacific.
“The unveiling of Sofitel Singapore City Centre marks an important milestone for AccorHotels as we continue to strengthen our presence in the region,” said AccorHotels Asia Pacific chairman and CEO Michael Issenberg.
“I am pleased to announce that this flagship hotel is our 800th property in Asia Pacific and opens at a time when we are focused on strengthening our luxury credentials globally.”
Located in Tanjong Pagar, the hotel is just 20 minutes away from Changi Airport.
It is AccorHotels’ 13th property in Singapore, with its opening set to be followed by the combined 782-room Novotel and Mercure complex on Stevens Road.
Aside from its well-appointed rooms and suites, Sofitel Singapore City Centre boasts 20,000 sq ft of meeting spaces, a gym, 30m infinity pool and several dining outlets.
