The Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) is set to launch a co-working space at the upcoming State Courts Towers, reported Singapore Business Review.
Dubbed CLICKS @ State, the co-working space will be located on the 21st floor of the new State Courts Towers and is set to open in Q1 2020.
A limited number of workspaces will be offered for rent in the first phase. For a start, CLICKS @ State will house a mix of law firms of different sizes representing legal practitioners specialising in family law, criminal law and community or relational disputes.
To help lower operational costs and inefficiencies, the space provides firms with shared facilities and amenities such as meeting rooms and office equipment. The space will also feature tech initiatives by SAL as they look to develop tech-enabled legal solutions.
SAL noted that the co-working space is aimed at expanding access to justice by future-proofing small law firms with the help of technology.
