It is anchored on four key pillars – Stay, Eat, Play & Learn and Celebrate, each designed with a family-first mentality.
Shangri-La Hotel Singapore and Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa has launched a new content hub called “Journey Beyond Imagination”, reported Business Insider.
It is anchored on four key pillars – Stay, Eat, Play & Learn and Celebrate, each designed with a family-first mentality.
The Play & Learn pillar aims to encourage physical activities for kids and their families, as shown through the area’s 15-acre space containing waterslides, greenery, swimming pools, water play areas, Siloso beach and access to “buds by Shangri-La” and Nestopia.
Nestopia, located on Siloso Beach, is an open-air play area comprising three giant nests all surrounded by 17 play sections featuring climbing structures, netted obstacles and two of the lengthiest landslides on Sentosa Island.
Buds by Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, on the other hand, is a dual-themed play facility measuring 1,872 sq m — 1,300 sq m outdoors and 572 sq m indoors, containing water areas, a baking room and music and art studios.
As a reflection of the Eat pillar, the properties have the Silver Shell Café and Trapizza which offers a full-service breakfast buffet and Italian food, respectively. Also featured are 11 other restaurants and bars, including the BabyZone which offers baby dining utensils and food throughout the day.
For the Stay pillar, the Shangri-La, Hotel Singapore offers themed family-suites for kids which are Castle, Safari, Treetop, Space or Underwater, along with a dedicated family concierge.
Meanwhile, Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa offers the Deluxe Pool View Rooms and the Family Garden Rooms, both of which have sofa beds, kid-sized bathrobes, bath sponges, anti-slip mats and step-stools.
Finally, for the Celebrate pillar, the properties offer celebration plans covering events, spaces, customised parties and catering. These include the Birthday Package and Fun Package, buds Party (Premium Package) and Play Party (Basic Package).
