UOL Chief Investment and Asset Officer Jesline Goh revealed that the company plans over half a million dollars in marketing assistance for its retail tenants.
UOL Group intends to pass on the savings from the property tax rebate unveiled in Budget 2020 to its retail tenants across its three malls – namely, KINEX, United Square and Velocity@Novena Square.
This would be on top of the Tenant Assistance Package that the developer will be rolling out at its malls.
UOL Chief Investment and Asset Officer Jesline Goh revealed that the company plans over half a million dollars in marketing assistance for its retail tenants.
“We will also pass on all the savings from the property tax rebate announced in the Budget to them in a targeted manner based on their needs.”
Free parking was also offered across UOL’s three malls. Parking at United Square and Velocity@Novena Square will be free for the first hour during Saturdays and Sundays and after 6pm daily. KINEX, on the other hand, will provide free parking for the first hour and after 6pm daily.
And while tenants can also opt to shorten their operating hours from 11am to 8pm, the standard operating hours of the mall will remain unchanged at 10am to 9:30pm.
Meanwhile, members of U-POPP, which is UOL’s mall loyalty programme, can also receive discounts via flash deals offered by fashion tenants and others.
“A food promotion initiative is also launched to reward customers who place orders from food outlets at UOL malls through any of the online food delivery platforms or dine in at the malls,” said UOL.
“Those who order takeaways for pre-packed meals will also enjoy savings on special promotional deals with strategic partners.”
Moreover, the property developer also launched a Healthcare Appreciative Package, which comprise $40,000 worth of dining and shopping offers for the 1,000 healthcare professionals working in Novena.
“As a developer with our roots in Singapore and a strong retail presence in the Novena precinct, we would like to show our appreciation to the healthcare professionals in their tireless fight against COVID-19. The Healthcare Appreciative Package is our small gesture to thank the medical community,” said Goh.
