A training centre space at Paya Lebar Square has been put up for sale by private treaty for $6.1 million or $2,276 per sq ft, revealed marketing agent Knight Frank Singapore.
Located on a high floor, the fully fitted training centre comprises two adjoining units with a total floor area of 2,680 sq ft. It presently conducts classes for working adults and could be easily transformed into a corporate office with workspaces and meeting rooms.
Paya Lebar Square is a commercial development featuring a 10-storey office tower and a three-level retail podium. Completed in 2014, it is directly linked to Paya Lebar MRT Interchange on the East West and Circle Lines. Nearby integrated developments include SingPost Centre and Paya Lebar Quarter.
Mary Sai, Executive Director of Investment and Capital Markets at Knight Frank Singapore, noted that the layout, set-up and teaching equipment available in the property is suitable for training and educational centre operators’ immediate occupation and operations.
“As safe distancing and work-from-home measures take place in light of current circumstances, smaller offices in suburban areas with good transport connectivity will appeal to companies looking to downsize as a cost-saving measure, or have satellite offices as part of Business Continuity Plans after the two-month circuit breaker period,” she said.
