In a bid to help retailers achieve brick and click sales, CapitaLand is ramping up its twin digital platforms eCapitaMall and Capita3Eats, which saw over 280 online merchants sign up since their launch on 1 June.
In a release, CapitaLand revealed that both platforms are on track to onboard 500 online merchants by end-2020.
Digital mall eCapitaMall features more than 130 merchants that offer over 18,000 stock keeping units across various categories including beauty, fashion, hobbies, electronics and home & living.
Shoppers can browse in-store before purchasing online or browse online before purchasing in store. They can also choose to receive their purchases via pick up in store or home delivery.
Merchants include IROO, House of Mr Popcorn by Golden Village, Grafunkt, City Chain, Hush Puppies, HUGO, MUJI, Shanghai Tang and HOOGA, among others.
Three-in-one food ordering platform Capita3Eats, on the other hand, features over 85 food and beverage (F&B) brands and will add more in July.
These include Fireless Kitchen, Godmama, Afuri, Isaac Toast, The Coffee Academics, Shahi Maharani, Ya Hua Bah Kut Teh, Nanjing Impressions and Octapas Spanish Tapas Bar.
CapitaLand said diners can fulfil their orders through takeaway, delivery or dine-in. However, the dine-in feature will only be enabled in the later part of July.
“In addition to generating online sales, CapitaLand’s twin digital platforms support retailers in enhancing their in-store customer experience with pre-ordering and click-and-collect options,” said Chris Chong, Managing Director for Retail at CapitaLand Singapore.
He added that eCapitaMall and Capita3Eats received positive reception from shoppers and retailers since their launch three weeks ago.
“We are excited to further enhance the shopping experience and features on both platforms to ensure that retailers and shoppers benefit from CapitaLand’s retail offerings, online and offline,” said Chong.
