Lendlease Global Commercial REIT has appointed Ng Hsueh Ling as its new chairman, effective 1 June.
Ng will be taking over the role from Anthony Peter Lombardo, who will serve as the new Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Lendlease.
In an SGX filing, Lendlease Global Commercial Trust Management revealed that Ng had been the Managing Director for Singapore and Chief Investment Officer for Asia at Lendlease since August 2017. She also served as Lendlease Retail’s key Executive Officer.
It noted that Ng has been “instrumental in driving the growth of Lendlease’s Asia Investment Management business platform, where she manages the growth strategy for Asia’s investment management portfolio, which includes creating access and pathways into new funds, REITs and assets”.
Before joining Lendlease, she served as the CEO and Executive Director of Keppel REIT Management. Before that, Ng was Ascendas’ CEO for Korea and Japan. She also held senior positions at CapitaLand Commercial and CapitaLand Financial.
Ng has more than 29 years of “real estate experience across Asia in strategic sourcing, investments and divestments, asset and portfolio management, as well as the development of assets”.
Holding a Bachelor of Science, Estate Management from the National University of Singapore, Ng is a licensed appraiser by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.
