CEL Development (CEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chip Eng Seng Corporation, has secured 60% pre-committed leases for Komo Shoppes, the retail podium at integrated development Parc Komo in Changi.
“From our soft launch of Komo Shoppes for lease, we have already secured FairPrice Finest, White Lodge International Preschool & Childcare, Pinnacle Family Clinic and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf as key tenants for this lifestyle hub,” said CEL Development Executive Director Michael Ng.
“We are on the lookout for other complementary trades to fill up the remaining 40% of available space.”
Given its prime frontage and high visibility at the corner of Upper Changi Road North and Jalan Mariam, the 27,000 sq ft Komo Shoppes has attracted many enquiries.
“We have turned down offers to purchase the units as we are committed to create a well-managed retail and lifestyle hub not only for residents of Parc Komo but also the surrounding community,” revealed Ng.
Trevor Ng, General Manager for FairPrice Finest and Warehouse Club at NTUC FairPrice, shared that FairPrice Finest is eager to serve the Parc Komo community.
“With a varied range of quality fresh produce and grocery items as well as daily essentials, we look forward to serving you soon,” he said.
“To better cater to the evolving and varied needs of our customers, we are inviting residents to co-create and curate FairPrice Finest Komo Shoppes together with us by letting us know what you would like to see in your grocery store; from your favourite meat cuts to gourmet cheese selection, or even a concierge service.”
Meanwhile, freehold residential project Parc Komo – which was launched in May 2019 – sold over 50% of its units at an average price of $1,450 per sq ft (psf).
Parc Komo and Komo Shoppes are set to be completed in 2023.
Residents and mall-goers will enjoy enhanced connectivity with the future Loyang MRT station on the Cross Island Line (CRL) just nearby and the rerouting of bus service 5 bringing the bus stop right at the doorstep of the development.
