The partnership between Lendlease and Google Cloud aims to advance Lendlease’s IT strategy, among other improvements, to optimise Lendlease’s digital processes.
Lendlease has partnered with Google Cloud to modernise the operations of the company, reported Singapore Business Review (SBR).
The partnership is centred around three key areas – the advancement of the IT strategy of Lendlease; integration of machine learning, artificial intelligence and smart data features into the company’s podium building software platform; as well as on collaboration joint-to-market initiatives for sustainable projects.
Lendlease Digital CEO Bill Ruh described the move as a way of optimising the digital processes of Lendlease.
“Remaking buildings is both the greatest need and the greatest opportunity in addressing our future. By using Podium to digitise supply chains, firms can plan construction projects with accurate parts, pricing, and supply,” he said as quoted by SBR.
“This means fewer delays to projects, more precise build plans, and a reduction in cost estimate errors. This will also put important information about the lifecycle of building projects into the hands of employees at their work locations, including construction sites and within owned property assets.”
