Jurong Lake District’s first major hotel, Genting Hotel Jurong (pictured), is set to soft open on 30 April, Resorts World Sentosa announced Thursday (9 April).
The 557-room hotel is set to have its grand opening on 27 May.
Located along Jurong Town Hall Road, 15-storey hotel tower—which offers MICE facilities—is close to the International Business Park, Jurong East MRT and bus interchange, as well as a number of shopping malls. It is connected by expressways and public transport to Tuas Checkpoint and Changi Airport.
Chow Keng Hai, Resorts World Sentosa’s (RWS) Vice President of Rooms, said: “Genting Hotel Jurong will boost RWS’ room inventory significantly and forms part of our business strategy to drive greater visitorship to RWS. It also allows us to be part of the exciting transformation that is taking place at the Jurong Lake District. The Singapore government’s development plans to revitalise the area into a stunning lakeside destination for business and leisure, bode well for Genting Hotel Jurong.”
