A B2 industrial development (pictured) in Jurong West has been put up for sale by expression of interest (EOI), marketing agent Colliers International said in a press release Monday (11 January).
Located at 255 Jalan Boon Lay, the food factory building sits on a corner site along Jalan Boon Lay and Chin Bee Drive of approximately 316,524 sq ft. It has a gross floor area of about 127,557 sq ft.
Zoned for Business 2 developments with a current plot ratio of 0.4 and a maximum allowable plot ratio of 2.5, Colliers said the development’s JTC lease expires 2 October 2029.
“The subject property presents a good opportunity for end-users in the food and beverage industry, especially those who are looking for expansion, to own a sizeable asset conveniently located within the Jurong Industrial Estate. We expect keen interest from food manufacturers, canned and bottled food and drinks manufacturers, as well as food processing vendors, among others,” said Grace Ng, deputy managing director at Colliers International, adding that the plot of such kind is rarely made available for sale. “In fact, the last largest industrial development sold in the vicinity was a factory with a land area of 162,574 sq ft in 1998.”
The EOI exercise for the property will close 1 March.
