TA Corp bags $180mil contract from JTC

Via a wholly-owned subsidiary, TA Corporation has secured a $180 million contract from the JTC Corporation for a building project, revealed an SGX filing on Tuesday (12 December).

In particular, Tiong Aik Construction clinched the main contract for the development, which will take 28 months to complete starting from 26 December 2017.

“The contract is not expected to have any material impact on the group’s consolidated earnings per share and net tangible assets per share for the current financial year ending 31 December 2017,” it said in a statement.

Furthermore, TA Corporation revealed that none of its directors or substantial shareholders hold any interest in the agreement.
