Construction firm KSH Holdings has clinched a $145.7 million contract from the National University of Singapore (NUS) to build a research building comprising 16 floors and a basement.
The project, which is expected to commence on 1 April and complete within 24 months, will lift KSH’s order book to more than $360 million.
“This new contract win demonstrates our ability to navigate challenges in our operating environment to stay resilient, leveraging on our competitive strengths – a comprehensive suite of capabilities, established track record and a strong balance sheet,” said Choo Chee Onn, Executive Chairman and Managing Director at KSH Holdings.
“It is also an indication that there are suitable opportunities present for us to capitalise on while protecting our healthy margins, hence we remain optimistic on the outlook of the construction industry,” he noted.
The group expects the project to progressively contribute positively to its financial performance from FY2018.
