Australian developer Lendlease announced on Monday (19 Nov) that it has introduced a new mobile app through which clients can receive rewards for their patronage of its shopping malls in Singapore, namely Jem, 313@somerset, Parkway Parade and the highly-anticipated Paya Lebar Quarter (pictured).
Dubbed Lendlease Plus, the multi-mall loyalty programme and mobile app will allow registered members to earn points called Lendlease Plus$ and exchange them for e-vouchers or parking credits (Lendlease Park Plus$), both of which can be redeemed instantly at any of the shopping centres.
After downloading and signing up, new members will be asked to choose their interest categories and the malls where they frequently shop so that they can get personalised content, such as information on events and promotions.
The Lendlease Plus app also comes with an e-wallet that securely keeps shoppers’ accumulated parking credits, e-vouchers and loyalty points. You can also buy e-vouchers as a gift, and send it by entering the recipient’s email address or mobile number via the application. Non-existing members can claim the gifted e-vouchers by utilising a unique one-time QR code sent to their mobile number or email address.
“The launch of Lendlease Plus not only brings our loyalty programme to the next level, but also demonstrates our continuing focus on the customers and their experience. With Lendlease Plus, the improved customer journey will start from their smartphones even before they arrive in our malls,” said Ng Hsueh Ling, Lendlease’s managing director for Singapore and chief investment officer of Asia.
Aside from providing a directory listing to both registered users and guests that contains information on stores, ongoing and future events, as well as sales promotions, the app will let people know about the availability of parking space in real time at any of the four malls. If the parking space at the selected shopping centre is low and there are fewer than 10 slots, the user will be notified via the app and will be informed about alternate parking spaces in the area.
