Far East Organization announced that Orchard Central’s Level 9 car park has been installed with three Tesla V3 Superchargers, making it Tesla’s first supercharger station within Singapore and Southeast Asia.
In a release, Far East Organization said the shopping mall’s strategic location within the Orchard Road shopping belt makes it a prime site for Tesla’s first supercharger station within the city.
It also noted that Orchard Central is the latest addition to Tesla’s growing list of more than 2,500 supercharger stations with more than 25,000 superchargers across the world.
Compatible only with Tesla model vehicles, the three Tesla V3 Superchargers at Orchard Central takes the total number of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at Far East Organization properties to eight.

The other five are charging stations from SP Group, which are compatible with all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
“We support the Government’s vision of a cleaner and more sustainable Singapore driven by green transport. To meet the growing demand for electric vehicles and efficient infrastructure to serve them across the country, the Tesla V3 Superchargers at Orchard Central are a welcome addition to the total number of charging stations accessible to EV drivers nationwide,” said Felicia Ang, Assistant Director of Retail Business Group at Far East Organization.
“We will continue to do our part by helping to make EV charging infrastructure more accessible across our properties,” she added.
Orchard Central’s new V3 Superchargers are available 24/7.
