Regin Hotel, a freehold budget hotel near the junction of Sims Way and Sims Avenue, has been put up for sale by expression of interest (EOI), revealed marketing agent Savills Singapore.
The 46-room hotel features a “good mix of bed types of Single to Family Suites” that are spread across five levels. The hotel has four sheltered lots, while a public car park can also be found by the side of the building.
Savills Singapore noted that many popular eateries and restaurants well known among tourists and locals alike are located just a short walk away, along the main Geylang Road and Sims Avenue.
Surrounded by other private apartments, small industrial buildings and shophouses, the hotel is about 550m to the Kallang MRT Station. Harbour Front Station is only seven stops away from where Sentosa and Vivocity are located while Raffles Place Station is just four stops away.
“With its eclectic vibe, interested parties can consider repositioning the hotel to a different category such as a themed boutique hotel or a hip and trendy hostel which will appeal to the adventurous millennial looking for fresh and exciting accommodation while on holidays in Singapore,” said Savills Singapore.
“Other value enhancement option is for existing operators to look at rebranding the hotel to their already established brand.”
The EOI exercise for the property will close on 15 November.
