Savills has expanded its real estate services offering with a new business valuation and advisory team, which comprises seven experienced professionals.
To be led by Eric Teo, the team will provide business valuation and advisory services, which include the valuing of companies, shares, equity interests and intangible assets for all purposes as well as provide strategic advice to organisations in varying stages of development.
Teo currently serves as chairman of the International Valuation Standards Council’s (IVSC) Membership and Standards Recognition Board. He is also the founding chairman of the Council of the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers of Singapore (IVAS).
To form part of Savills Valuation and Advisory business, the team will be based in Singapore and will work with clients across Southeast Asia.
“It has long been our wish to establish a presence in the Business Valuation market in South East Asia. The appointment of Eric and the team will enable us to offer an experienced and leading service to meet the diverse needs of our clients,” said Martin Fidden, regional director, Asia, Valuation & Advisory, Savills.
