Yotelair is set to open at Jewel Changi Airport on 12 April, featuring 130 cabins or hotel rooms which can be booked for at least four hours, reported Channel NewsAsia.
The brand is also present in five other airports, including Amsterdam’s Schiphol, London’s Gatwick and Heathrow, Paris’ Charles de Gaulle and Istanbul.
“We are tremendously excited to open our first Yotelair in Asia here in Singapore, and even more so as it is within the beautiful Jewel Changi Airport,” said general manager Norman Cross.
“Yotelair Singapore Changi Airport is set to become an integral gateway to the most prominent journeys in the world, championing the hotel experience for every modern traveller.”
With airline style self-check-in kiosks, the new hotel in Singapore will offer various amenities such as a 24-hour gym as well as a club lounge overlooking Jewel’s 40m Rain Vortex, which is the tallest indoor waterfall in the world.
Meanwhile, rooms are categorised into Family, Premium Queen Accessible and Premium Queen.
Created by English entrepreneur Simon Woodroffe, Yotel’s major shareholders include the Talal Jassim Al-Bahar Group, a controlled affiliate of Starwood Capital Group, Kuwait Real Estate Company and United Investment Portugal.
Yotel also has a hotel in Orchard Road as well as in other cities such as San Francisco, Boston and New York.
